Budget Saving Proposal - Gas Lanterns

By not using the gas Lanterns at the front of each village upwards to $1,000 per year could be saved on maintenance and fuel cost.

I was really hoping to get more replies.  Either you want them to remain on or turn them off.  If you don't care either way, just say so.  The proposed cost for the year is $700.00.  This money could then be used to lower the village dues or be used for something else in the village budget.  I hope to see some more replies.

I am trying to get Rockbridge to turn ours off,  they serve no useful purpose, they are NOT a deciding factor on buying a home here  (despite what some will try to say), and they cause air pollution.
I think I am fighting alone on this one however.

I know I just don't really care either way.
